Sanjay Dutt reveals the reason why he chose to join cast of ‘Sadak 2’

Sanjay Dutt recently revealed that he would never have agreed to ‘Sadak 2’ had Mahesh Bhatt not come on board to write or direct the film.

Reported on Pinkvilla, the ‘Panipat’ (2019) actor said he would have opted out of the film if Bhatt was not at the helm. Praising award-winning director for giving ‘Sadak 2’ the justice it deserves, Dutt said, “He is a great director and he has done an incredible job keeping up with the storyline of Sadak such that it stays relevant to today’s time.” Dutt also commended Bhatt for dedicating hours to lead the young crew working on the film.

Dutt and Pooja Bhatt, the original cast of ‘Sadak’ (1991) reunite onscreen once more, playing the same characters for the sequel, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is slated to release in July 2020.
