Saif Ali Khan and Vidya Balan reunite for Ritesh Batra’s next film
Saif Ali Khan and Vidya Balan are reportedly set to reunite for filmmaker Ritesh Batra’s upcoming film, following Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s reported exit from the project.
According to reports, Vidya is being linked to the untitled film, which is said to be a love story set against a family backdrop. French actress Mélanie Laurent is also reportedly part of the cast.
Priyanka was previously linked to the project but is said to have stepped away due to scheduling conflicts. However, it remains unclear whether Vidya is directly replacing her.
Saif has reportedly begun filming in Mumbai, although further details about the production and its release plans remain under wraps.

The project would mark another collaboration between Saif and Vidya, who previously starred together in ‘Parineeta’ (2005) and ‘Eklavya: The Royal Guard’ (2007).
Batra is best known for directing ‘The Lunchbox’ (2013), which received international acclaim.
