SAB TV to premiere ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’

SAB TV will premiere this year’s surprise box office hit ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ on its channel this month, for free.

BizAsia can confirm that the light-hearted romantic comedy, produced by Yash Raj Films, will air on Sunday 24th May at 13:00 and 21:00 (in UK).

The film, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanjay Mishr and Bhumi Pednekar is about an arranged marriage between a slim guy and an over-weight girl.

Earlier, the network had planned to broadcast the film on Sony MAX but it has decided to shift the premiere to SAB TV in an effort to ramp up the channel’s ratings.
