Director Rohit Shetty is expected to begin shooting ‘Golmaal 5’ under significantly heightened security measures, following the recent gunfire incident outside his Juhu residence on Sunday morning. The production is preparing to operate with a strict two‑tier security system, which will include mandatory ID checks and regulated vehicle entry at filming locations.
The shoot is tentatively scheduled to begin after 15th February, though the timeline may shift depending on police clearance. Mumbai Police have already strengthened security around Shetty’s property as part of their ongoing investigation into the attack.
A member of the film’s creative team told Mid-Day, “The film was to roll after February 15 in Mumbai. Whether the shoot dates move will now depend on Shetty and clearance from the police.”
