Ritesh Sidhwani re-confirms ‘Raees’ clash with ‘Sultan’ on Eid

Ritesh Sidhwani has once again reiterated that his next ‘Raees’ will clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ on Eid this summer.

Rumours have been rife that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ would be postponed due to post-production work but Sidhwani rubbished the speculation.

He told the Indian Express, ���We are scheduled to release the film as planned. We have finished shooting most of the movie. Right now, we are working on the parts that were left, including a few action sequences that couldn�۪t be shot earlier due to Shah Rukh Khan�۪s knee surgery. Everyone talks about their deadlines, but there are five months left for Eid. So, you don�۪t know what will happen. As of now, we�۪re scheduled to release our film on that day.”

The last time the two Khans faced each other at the box office was in 2006 when ‘Don’ went head-to-head with ‘Jaaneman’.
