Ranbir Kapoor confirms when ‘Animal Park’ will go on the floors
Ranbir Kapoor has officially clarified the production timeline for ‘Animal Park’, putting an end to speculation that the sequel was being fast‑tracked. In a recent interview with Deadline, the actor addressed rumours head‑on. When asked whether the film had already gone into production, he responded, “The director is right now making another film. We should start that film in 2027. It’s a bit away.”
His statement confirms that ‘Animal Park’ will not go on the floors before 2027, with the delay directly tied to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s current commitment to Spirit, a large‑scale action film led by Prabhas. Only once Vanga completes that project will work on the much‑anticipated sequel begin.
