Overnights: ZEE TV’s ratings plummet on Tuesday in UK

It was a fairly disappointing night for most UK Asian TV channels on Tuesday, with ZEE TV amongst the four big Indian TV players plummeting further, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The four big Indian TV giants put Star Plus ahead with a share of 0.18%, followed by Sony TV with 0.05%, Colors with 0.04% and ZEE TV barely crossing 0.01%. ZEE TV was also thrashed in the ratings by Rishtey, which garnered 0.04%, Star Bharat with 0.03%, Sony SAB TV and its own sister channel, &TV with 0.01% each.

ZEE TV, which overhauled its primetime schedule on Monday, is yet to click with viewers. The repeat of ‘Piyaa Albela’ at 14:30 and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 20:30 pulled in 4,100 viewers each, followed by ‘Woh Apna Sa’ at 19:30 with 2,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 remained top with 102,900 viewers, followed by ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 85,100 viewers, ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 71,900 viewers and ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 with 69,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 raked in 24,400 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 14,500 viewers and ‘Laado 2’ at 22:00 with 10,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Rangrasiya’ led with 26,300 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Main Teri Parchai Hoon’ at 22:30 with 25,700 viewers and ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 21:00 with 25,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 attracted 30,700 viewers, followed by ‘Gumrah’ at 22:00 with 27,800 viewers and ‘Shab-e-Zindagi’ at 21:00 with 24,700 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘Tarka’ was top show with 20,700 viewers at 22:00.

On Geo TV, ‘Rani’ was watched by 18,300 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Adhoora Bandhan’ at 22:00 with 3,300 viewers.
