Overnights: Star Plus UK delivers best ratings of 2018 so far on Friday

After a bleak start to 2018, Star Plus has had its best week of the year so far in UK ratings, with Friday’s figures a huge boost for the channel, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.31% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ playing a big part in the channel’s success. It was watched by 154,300 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 130,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 107,800 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 91,100 viewers.

Rishtey Cineplex moved up to No.2 with a share of 0.10%. Its top performer was ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ at 19:00 with 35,000 viewers.

ZEE Cinema was in third with a share of 0.05%. The channel did well owing to the success of ‘Holiday’ starring Akshay Kumar at 08:15 with 16,600 viewers. ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’ at 11:15 also did well with 11,800 viewers.

Hum TV was in fourth with a share of 0.04%. Its top shows were ‘Parchhayi’ at 21:00 with 24,800 viewers and ‘Oh Rungreza’ at 20:00 with 12,600 viewers.

Sony MAX also delivered a share of 0.04% with ‘Dangerous Ishhq’ at 17:30 pulling in 13,300 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television, Rishtey and Hum Masala fetched a share of 0.03%. ‘Mere Sai’ on Sony TV was biggest show with 32,500 viewers, followed by ‘Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya’ at 21:00 with 16,500 viewers and ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ at 22:30 with 11,800 viewers.

ZEE TV registered a share of 0.02%, while Colors fell to 0.01%.
