Overnights: Star Plus Dopahar stays record high on Tuesday

Star Plus UK’s ratings remained at an all-time high during the afternoon slot, for the second consecutive day, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The biggest show of the afternoon was actually a non-Star Plus Dopahar show – ‘Meri Durga’, which moved out of the primetime slot to 12:30 in the UK last week. It was watched by 49,800 viewers yesterday – peaking at 70,900 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee’ at 13:30 with 47,700 viewers.

The other shows that followed in the pecking order were ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ at 15:00 with 44,900 viewers and ‘Ek Haazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ at 14:30 with 44,200 viewer. ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 13:00 was watched by 39,700 viewers and ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem’ at 14:00 with 34,000 viewers.

While Star Plus is the clear leader with its original programming during the afternoon slot, its rivals have remained behind with repeat shows.
