Overnights: Sony SAB jumps to second place on Sunday
Sony SAB TV proved a ratings success yesterday with the channel taking second place amongst UK Asian TV channels in all-day ratings.
The channel’s ‘Umang 2014’ show at 15:00 was the biggest success with 42,900 viewers, followed by ‘Aashiqui 2’ at 21:00 with 36,800 viewers. Sony SAB TV had an all-day reach of 15,500 viewers – making it the second most watched channel last night. This was followed by Colors, which dominated the ratings on Sunday.
Colors had an all-day reach of 21,700 viewers – making it the most watched UK Asian TV channel. The channel’s top show was ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ with 83,800 viewers, followed by ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ with
On Star Plus, ‘Birmingham Mela’ highlights at 20:00 pulled in 28,500 viewers, followed by ‘Kick Start’ at 21:00 with 12,500 viewers. ‘Big Star Entertainment Awards’ was top show with 34,000 viewers at 17:30.
77,300 viewers and ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ at 20:00 with 31,500 viewers.
On ARY News, ‘News at 2pm’ was the top show with 48,000 viewers, followed by ‘Agar’ at 13:00 with 30,000 viewers. ARY News was the most watched South Asian news channel yesterday.
On Rishtey, ‘Aamna Saamna’ was top with 11,000 viewers, followed by ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ repeat at 19:00 with 10,000 viewers and ‘Numm’ at 20:30 with 8,000 viewers.
