Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic saga ‘SaraswatiChandra’ has returned to pole position in the UK by becoming the most watched show last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘SaraswatiChandra’ garnered 180,500 viewers at 19:30 – peaking at 244,200 viewers. This was followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 158,400 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ in third with 152,700 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘MasterChef India’ with 139,300, followed by ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (118,300), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (118,000), ‘Veera’ (117,600) and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (89,200).

On Rishtey, ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ got 75,700 viewers, followed by ‘Bairi Piya’ with 56,800 viewers and ‘Bandhan’ at 19:00 attracting 45,400 viewers.

Star Life Ok’s ‘Welcome’ got one of the best ever audience figures with 60,300 viewers, ‘Savdhaan India’ was next with 42,000 and ‘Amrit Manthan’ with 19,700 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was the channel’s most watched show with 48,300 viewers, followed by ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ with 43,700 and ‘Chidiyaghar’ with 26,900 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Cloud 9’ rated zero at 18:30 and 22:30. ‘World Of Bollywood’ at 18:00 got 6,900 viewers, followed by ‘Trendsetters’ at 19:00 with 6,100 viewers.
