Overnights: ‘MasterChef India’ climbs to top in UK

The reality show ‘MasterChef India’ climbed its way back to the top of the UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘MasterChef India’, which airs at 20:00 on weekdays pulled in 197,700 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’, which got 194,300 viewers. In third place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, which attracted 175,000.

The others in the pecking order were ‘SaraswatiChandra’ (170,500), ‘Saathiya’ (161,100), ‘Veera’ (137,100), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (130,700) and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (103,200).

On Rishtey, ‘Bairi Piya’ at 20:30 was the most watched show with 68,900 viewers, followed by ‘Bani Ishq Da Kalma’ with 38,400.

On ITV4, the Indian Premier League matches yesterday between 11:00 and 20:00 delivered a stellar performance of 196,000 viewers – peaking at 408,200 viewers.

On Zing, music playlist show ‘Pure Bollywood’ was the most watched show on the channel with 12,700 at 16:00. ‘Cloud 9’ at 18:30 over 1,100 viewers and a further 1,400 viewers at 22:30 for the repeat.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Amrit Manthan’ at 19:30 pulled in 11,400 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 8,200 viewers.
