Overnights: ‘Mahabharat’ & ‘SaraswatiChandra’ lead

'SaraswatiChandra' tops Tuesday ratings

‘Mahabharat’, along with ‘SaraswatiChandra’ leaped ahead of rival shows on UK Asian television last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The two shows proved to be the biggest successes on Asian television yesterday. ‘Mahabharat’ at 20:30 attracted 139,200 viewers, while ‘SaraswatiChandra’ at 19:30 raked in 127,900 viewers was second placed. In third was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 124,800 viewers at 23:00.

On Colors, new show ‘Shastri Sisters’ was up on its launch episode on Monday. Yesterday it delivered 29,300 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 25,600 viewers and ‘Rangrasiya’ in third with 21,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ repeat at 22:30 pulled in 54,200 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 39,300 viewers and ‘Parichay’ repeat at 22:00 with 14,700 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 24,200 viewers, followed by new show ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ at 22:00 with 21,900 viewers and ‘Nadaan Parinde’ at 21:00 with 16,700 viewers.

On Hum Europe, ‘Aah Ko Ek Umar Chahiye’ was top with 23,900 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Main Na Manu Haar’ at 22:30 with 1,800 viewers and ‘Jashne Ramadan’ at 18:30 with 1,500 viewers.
