Overnights: Final episode of ‘Ishqbaaz’ ends with decent figures in UK

The final episode of Star Plus’ popular series ‘Ishqbaaz’ ended with average numbers in the UK on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The show starring Nakuul Mehta and Niti Taylor, bowed out on Friday evening with 52,900 viewers tuning in at 20:00. ‘Ishqbaaz’ came to an end after a three-year run due to falling numbers.

Elsewhere, the biggest shows on Star Plus were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 64,700 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 64,200 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 56,300 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 53,200 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 37,600 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 29,400 viewers.

Overall, Star Plus remained the No.1 Asian TV channel with a share of 0.14%, followed by Hum Masala with 0.09%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.08%, Hum TV with 0.07%, New Vision TV with 0.06%, Geo News and PTC Punjabi with 0.05%, Rishtey and Geo TV with 0.04%, Colors with 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.02%.

Hum Masala’s coverage of the Pakistan Super League was watched by 28,100 viewers at 14:00, followed by the post-match coverage at 17:30 with 23,400 viewers. Sister channel, Hum TV also did well with ‘Baandi’ fetching 55,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Jaal – The Trap’ at 21:00 with 28,700 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ attracted 43,300 viewers, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 39,500 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 36,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Roop’ was watched by 16,200 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Silsila’ at 22:00 with 15,500 viewers and ‘Sitara’ at 23:00 with 12,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 pulled in 23,200 viewers.
