Mukesh Chhabra dismisses rumours of ‘Dhurandhar 3’
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra has firmly shut down growing speculation surrounding the possibility of a third instalment in Aditya Dhar’s action franchise. A screenshot circulating online had fuelled excitement among fans, hinting at a potential continuation of the series.
Chhabra, however, was quick to clarify the situation. Responding to the rumours, he said, “Aisa kuch nahi hone wala. Bahut sare rumours hai” (“Nothing like that is going to happen. There are a lot of rumours”). He added that if there were ever a rumour requiring clarification, he would address it directly on X, formerly Twitter.

Speculation intensified after director Aditya Dhar shared a note with fans a day before the release of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ on 19 March. In an Instagram post, he urged audiences to remain seated until the credits had finished rolling, writing: “Don’t leave your seats until the credits have stopped rolling.” Many interpreted this as a hint that a Part 3 announcement might be hidden in the credits.
