Lady Gaga to appear on Star Plus’ ‘Desirable’

Popular American singer Lady Gaga has been confirmed to appear on Star Plus’ hit show ‘India’s Most Desirable’ in August.

The channel has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that Lady Gaga will be joining host Simi Garewal on the episode to be aired on Sunday 21st August.

Lady Gaga has been in talks with various producers about a Bollywood debut. She recently launched the Indian version of her smash hit ‘Born This Way’ and ‘Edge Of Glory’.

Charttoping track ‘Born This Way’ was reworked by top Bollywood music producers Salim and Sulaiman Merchant to boost her popularity there.

Lady Gaga has already expressed her desire to work in Bollywood. She recently said, “”I have seen a few Bollywood films and I love how theatrical they are, and that’s my favourite part – that they are so surreal and full of fantasy.”

The episode will air on Sunday 21st August at 19:00 on Star Plus worldwide.
