Kiara Advani to join cast of ‘Kabir Singh’ in November

Kiara Advani who will be starring in ‘Kabir Singh’, the Telugu remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ (2017), will be joining the team by the end of November.

Reported on Mid-day, Advani will be seen opposite Sahid Kapoor, who has already started shooting for the film, helmed by Sandeep Vanga who also directed the original.

Since her last appearance in Karan Johar’s production for the ‘Lust Stories’ (2018) anthology, the ‘Fugly’ (2014) star is now starting to get the attention of filmmakers to cast her in films with A-listers. Her next project is with Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in ‘Good News’. For Advani the most important thing is to entertain audiences across the country without differentiating between Bollywood and regional films, “I want to be a pan-India entertainer and entertain everyone who wants to watch me. If there are good scripts regardless of the language, I would like to take them up and entertain as many people as I can,” says ‘The Machine’ (2017) actress who further added, “I am very fortunate that my first South film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ did so well and became such a big blockbuster. It has been such a great experience that I would surely love to keep entertaining that audience as well.”

Apart from ‘Good News’ and ‘Kabir Singh’, Advani has also secured a special appearance in Johar’s period drama ‘Kalank’.

‘Kabir Singh’ is slated for release on the 21st June 2019.
