It seems another sports biopic may be on the offing and this time it will be the life of Bhakti Sharma, Indian swimmer who is the first Asian woman and the world’s youngest person to set a world record in competitive swimming in Antarctica’s freezing waters. News has it that Kiara Advani is the first choice for the role.
Leena, Bhakti’s mother, has been her coach and recently said in a statement that the makers are considering Advani for the part, even though she also said that she thinks Shefali Shah and Alia Bhatt would be her choice.
Bhakti started training at just two-years-old and her first open water swim was when she was 16.
