Karan Wahi on being a part of ZEE5’s ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend S2’

Bringing yet another youthful take on love and messy adult relationships, the second season of ZEE5 Global’s popular series Never Kiss Your Best Friend is returning with its lead actors, Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh. Set to release on the 29th of April, Nakuul and Anya are joined by Karan Wahi and Sarah Jane Dias in the second season of the show.

Helmed by Harsh Dedhia and produced by 11:11 Productions, Never Kiss Your Best Friend S2, is a perfect way to take a break from tentpole titles, crime thrillers and dark comedies. In this season, Tanie essayed by Anya is moving ahead in her personal and professional life, as Karan Wahi’s character makes an entry into her life. But things go haywire as Sumer, played by Nakuul, also returns to complete some unfinished business.

Talking about his role in the new season, Karan Wahi said, “I resonate very well with my character as he is an actor himself in the show, and I realized there was something for me to perform. I picked a lot of things from my own life to play this character. The nature of my character in the show is different and unique from the rest of the characters. He is very real and chilled out in his approach.”

Wahi also confessed that he loved the first season of the show and being part of the second season made for a great experience. “Love, Friendship and Confusion” are the words the actor uses to describe the second season.

Sharing his thoughts on working with ZEE5 Global, the actor said, “ ZEE as a network is so widely seen and watched, be it television, films or OTT platform. ZEE5 Global is a great brand to be associated with considering its global presence. ”

The new season will also feature Sapna Pabbi, Javed Jaffrey, Niki Walia, and Deepti Bhatnagar in supporting roles.
