Kapil Dev named Indian Cricketer of the Century

All-rounder Kapil Dev was named as the Wisden Indian
Cricketer of the Century at an awards dinner in London
on Tuesday. The former leading wicket-taker in Test
cricket got the nod over fellow contenders Sachin
Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar.

The event was televised exclusively on ZEE TV last night
and included the finest stars of the cricketing world.
