Kabir Khan was not convinced Salman Khan would accept ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’

Filmmaker Kabir Khan and superstar Salman Khan delivered one of the biggest blockbusters Bollywood has seen in the form of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ (2015). ��A film which impressed both the audience and critics alike, the filmmaker was initially not convinced that Salman Khan would green-signal the project.

Speaking to��Mid Day, Kabir Khan said, “For ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, I always had Nawazuddin Siddiqui in mind for the role of Chand Nawab. But I wasn�۪t sure if Salman Khan would want to do the film.”

Interestingly, Salman Khan not only agreed to act in the film but also produced the film. ��’Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was the first Bollywood release under the banner of Salman Khan Films.
