Kabir Khan not directing ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ due to issues?

When news emerged last week that Ali Abbas Zafar would be directing the sequel to ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012) and not original director, Kabir Khan, many were left wondering why change on top.

SpotBoye reports that there could be a couple of reasons on why Kabir chose not to direct ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. It reported that Kabir wants to be the Line Producer of the films he directs and with Yash Raj Films producing the film, he won’t be able to do that. The second reasoning given was that Kabir doesn’t believe in sequels.

While Kabir hasn’t opened up about the precise reasons for distancing himself from the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer, one thing’s for sure, there is no truth in rumours of any animosity between the two Khans.
