In Picture: First poster of ‘Border 2’ featuring Varun Dhawan
The makers of the highly anticipated war drama ‘Border 2’ have unveiled the first-look poster featuring Varun Dhawan, igniting excitement among fans ahead of its Republic Day 2026 release. The film, produced by T-Series and JP Films, is a sequel to the iconic 1997 blockbuster ‘Border’.
In the poster, Varun Dhawan is seen in a powerful avatar as Param Vir Chakra Hoshiyar Singh Dahiya, an Indian soldier on the battlefield. Dressed in full army uniform and captured mid-action with a gun in hand, Dhawan’s intense expression and commanding presence reflect the courage and spirit of the nation’s heroes.
This marks Varun’s first time portraying an army officer, joining a stellar cast that includes Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film is directed by Anurag Singh, known for his work on ‘Kesari’, and is set to release in cinemas on 23 January 2026.
