Popular Tollywood actor Harshvardhan Rane is soon to be seen in ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ which will mark his debut in Bollywood.
Rane told the New Indian Express, “It۪s a classic, romantic musical and my role is that of a guy who is sombre and is an introvert. He is romantic but is also rough, raw and intense. He looks at life in a different way. The director has done a great job with the characterisation, and it has become a special role for me”.
He continued to talk about his thoughts that both the Tollywood and Bollywood industries are not very different to each other, “If you had asked me five years earlier, then my answer may have been different, but now with films like Baahubali coming in, the barrier between Telugu and Hindi films has been broken. Films are being made that can appeal to all audiences. Currently there is so much exchange happening between industries actors, technicians and producers are all working in different mediums and in different languages”.
The actor hasn’t yet thought beyond his debut, “There is no pipeline system in my life. I don۪t like having seven to eight films in my kitty. I take each films as it comes”.
‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ is slated for release on 5th February.
