Geo TV to launch ‘Mohabbat Dagh Ki Soorat’

Geo TV has announced the launch of new fiction ‘Mohabbat Dagh Ki Soorat’.

After the death of her father, Shijrat a young and beautiful girl along with her mother is forced to shift to her uncle’s house. Settling in a new place especially after recovering from a huge loss becomes a challenge for Shijrat however she chooses to follow her father’s dream of acquiring higher studies. Shijrat’s cousin, Afaq’s conservative views soon becomes a problem for her and makes the life around her full of restrictions however she continues to defy the norms.

Hailing from a respectable family is Sinan who is Shijrat’s batchmate at university. Sinan’s own personal tragedy a few months earlier makes him an easy target for humiliation in society. Shijrat’s kind-hearted nature draws her closer to Sinan and they soon fall in love with each other.

As their life progresses, an unexpected turn brings a huge storm and destroys everything in their life. All of their happiness, love and trust vanishes in a second while the misunderstandings and devious antics by those closer to them make it even more difficult for them to survive.

As society turns against them, will Sinan and Shijrat be able to redeem their self-respect and love in front of everyone? Will Sinan and Shijrat’s loving and trustworthy relationship stand the test of time?
