Emraan Hashmi confirmed in ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’ remake

Serial kisser Emraah Hashmi has been confirmed to play the lead role in the remake of ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’ (1991) originally played by Aamir Khan.

The director is yet to confirm whether the film will be a direct copy of the original, however the basic plotline will be similar..

Mahesh Bhatt told Times Of India, “The film I directed was modelled on It Happened One Night by Frank Capra, but didn’t do justice to the hero’s character. With this remake, we seek to do justice to the character played originally by Clark Gable, that of an unapologetic rake. Emi fits this character like a glove. With this film, women who have secretly lusted for him so far, will now fall in love with him.”
