Digangana Suryavanshi to turn princess for her next film, ‘Mahal’

After delivering an impressive performance in the Telugu film, ‘Seetimaarr’, actress Digangana Suryavanshi is gearing up for her next big south film, ‘Mahal’. The film that’s directed by Pon Kumaran, will be seeing Digangana in a never-seen-before character.

Digangana, who made her debut in Tamil film industry with the movie ‘Dhanusi Rasini Neyargale’, is back with another Tamil film, titled Mahal. While the actress is lovingly called princess by her fans, this will be the first time ever that her fans will see her playing a princess on the big screen!

Talking about the film, the actress says, “I’m excited to have signed up for Mahal, and especially to be working with such wonderfully talented people! I’m looking forward to working with Pon Kumaran sir as well as I really admire his work”.

Talking about how she’s preparing for her character as a princess, the actress says, “I’ve been doing my research as the film is based a few hundred years in history. I’m also trying to learn the mannerisms of royalty, and then eventually, while shooting, feel like the princess of the castle we’re shooting in”.

‘Mahal’ is being shot in Indore, and some parts of Madhya Pradesh, and also south stars actors Vedhika and Kishan in pivotal roles.
