Dangal TV to launch on Sky in UK; replaces Foodxp
India’s leading free-to-air Hindi general entertainment channel, Dangal is set for a launch in the UK, on Sky channel 712.
BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively confirm that Dangal will be available from Monday (15th January), replacing Foodxp. The channel will be distributed and marketed by World Media Connect.
The channel quickly dominated the Rural market within a short span of time. It was launched initially as a Bhojpuri channel, before switching to a full-fledged Hindi service. It is owned by Enterr10 Television Network.
Dangal’s UK transmission will include charttopping shows like ‘Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjana’, ‘ Mann Atisundar’, ‘Purnima’, amongst many others. The channel’s entire lineup is its new and original programming and includes dramas and movies.
