Countdown on for ZEE’s Rabba Ishq Na Hove

ZEE TV will be launcing its next big weapon in the battle of the soaps this Friday (5th August), the much awaited Aroona Irani production, Rabba Ishq Na Hove.

The intense story depicts the love turmoils in the lives of its protagonists. Beginning, this Friday, Rabba Ishq Na Hove, will air weekly at 20:00.

Speaking on the launch of the serial, Abhijit Saxena, Business Head ZEE TV said, ?Rabba Ishq Na Hove is an intense love saga, quite different from the other shows that are on air currently. In the past, we have always enjoyed the support of our audiences whenever we have tried something new. We hope to continue the trend with this new show?.

Rabba Ishq Na Hove has been shot lavishly in the beautiful, breath taking locales of Singapore and Dubai. The serial is produced by Aroona Irani known for previous hits such as Tum Bin Jaoon Kahaan, Mehendi Tere Naam Ki and many more. Rabba Ishq Na Hove has a powerful star cast with Sangeeta Ghosh, Nikhil Arya and Varun Badola playing the lead in the serial.

Rabba Ishq Na Hove is the story about Veera Malhotra (Sangeeta Ghosh) who is an airhostess. Veera falls in love with Vivaan (Nikhil Arya) only to realize later on that Vivaan was playing a prank on her all the time. Veera decides to move on in her life, when she meets Aman (Varun Badola). Aman completely charms her and Veera discovers true love in her new relationship with Aman.

As STAR Plus gears for the launch of its big ticket Kaun Banega Crorepati 2, rival channels have begun sprucing up their schedules. ZEE TV’s latest move of increasing its daily soaps to a Monday-Friday format may work in their favour. Sony on the otherhand is relying on its big soap wedding where Jassi, the lead character from the channel’s top rating drama Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, will be getting hitched. Let’s see how things change over the next few months.
