Speaking at the event, Sandeep Bansal said, “For the longest time, regional stories have connected deeply with audiences, and today, they are not just relevant but leading the conversation. At Chaupal, we have always believed in building a platform that celebrates Punjabi, Haryanvi and Bhojpuri content at scale, with the ambition of taking it to audiences across the world. What we are witnessing today is not a shift, but a movement — where regional is now truly mainstream. With initiatives like Chaupal++, we are now looking at building a much larger ecosystem around regional entertainment and culture.”
Chaupal representatives noted that the platform was created to give regional stories a dedicated space where language and authenticity remain central. The event was described as both a celebration of the industry and a reflection of the collective effort driving regional cinema and digital content forward.
The evening concluded with performances and interactions among artists, creators and industry leaders, marking another step in Chaupal’s efforts to promote regional storytelling.
