British Indian author Saurav Dutt named finalist for Asian Achievers Awards
British Indian author and geopolitical commentator Saurav Dutt has been shortlisted in the Arts & Culture category of the 24th Asian Achievers Awards, recognising his contribution to arts and culture through his writing on international affairs.
Dutt received the nomination for his work surrounding Balance of Power: US-India Relations in the Epoch of Trump and Modi and his wider geopolitical analysis of the evolving relationship between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump. His commentary has appeared across Indian media, including Times Now and the Republic network.
Announcing the shortlist, Asian Achievers Awards Convenor Pratik Dattani said: “We received a strong set of submissions this year for the Asian Achievers Awards. Judges looked for examples of leadership, impact and contribution to the community. Our Arts & Culture shortlist this year reflects the talent we have across our South Asian communities, including drama, modelling, TV and cookery, writing and theatre. Asian Achievers Awards 2025: Nominations shortlist announced
Originally published to examine the strategic partnership between Trump and Modi, Balance of Power is being released in a second printing this summer with a new title and cover. The book explores the political, diplomatic and ideological foundations of one of the defining bilateral relationships of the twenty-first century.
The 24th Asian Achievers Awards will be held on 18th September 2026 at the London Hilton on Park Lane, bringing together guests from business, politics, entertainment and public life.
