Box Office: ‘Christmas Karma’ opens up at No.7 in UK cinemas

Gurinder Chadha’s latest release ‘Christmas Karma’ has debuted at No.7 in the UK and Ireland’s Top 15 films. According to figures up to Monday 17 November, the film has taken £487,528 since opening.
At the top of the chart, Hollywood title ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’ entered directly at No.1, recording an impressive £2,384,018.
Meanwhile, Bollywood release ‘De De Pyaar De 2’, starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, opened at No.14 with £130,643 in its first weekend. Gujarati film ‘Laalo’ also made headlines, earning £82,000 and becoming the highest-grossing Gujarati release ever in the UK.
