Birthday Love: Kiara Advani in five lively songs

It has been just over ten years since this actress made her debut in the film industry. At that time who would have thought that this actress would become a name many admire and love. With lots of great films to her name like ‘Kabir Singh’ (2019), ‘Guilty’ (2020) and ‘Shershaah’ (2021) her fans eagerly await for news of her upcoming projects.

The actress we are talking about is the wonderful Kiara Advani who celebrates her 33rd birthday on the 31st July. Advani’s films have always featured some superb songs therefore on the occasion of her birthday BizAsiaLive.com, will pick five lively songs that we feel deserve a mention.

Kiara Advani in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’

‘Sun Sajni’ from ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ (2023)
There were a number of artists who came together to create this song from Parampara Tandon, Piyush Mehroliyaa and Meet Bros. The latter even composed the music for this Garba style song. The set was extravagant with the red colour being the main theme even Kiara Advani and Karthik Aaryan’s traditional costumes featured the colour red.

Both Advani and Aaryan were praised for the way they danced on this song. Aaryan was seen skilfully using dandiya sticks in his dance while Advani danced beautifully using various Garba moves.

The song was shown at the end of the film but it is still no doubt a great song which will get played during Navaratri a lot.

Kiara Advani dancing in the song ‘Kya Baat Haii 2.0′

‘Kya Baat Haii 2.0’ from ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ (2022)
There’s a huge dark room with lights beaming at something in the centre. The lights are beaming down on Vicky Kaushal whose arms are tied by long metal chains. It is then that he begins to sing and Advani can be seen making an appearance. She begins walking down some steps dressed like a diva and she is ready to kill, with her attitude of course.

Originally this song’s music lyrics and composition were created by Jaani while the music was done by B Praak. The vocals were by Harrdy Sandhu.

When Tanishk Bagchi remade the song for this film he didn’t make too many major changes. Therefore Sandhu’s vocals remained and he was accompanied by Nikhita Gandhi who sung for Advani.

The song is cool with Kaushal showing off his dancing side which not many had seen before this. Advani mesmerises with her glamour and style. The song was a hit and is still quite popular even two years later.

‘Dil Tera’ from ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’ (2020)
The song begins with Advani and Aditya Seal sat watching the song tareef karoon kya uski from the 1964 film ‘Kashmir Ki Kali’. As the song progresses they realise that they have taken the roles of Shammi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore. They are dressed exactly like them with Advani in a Kashmiri attire and Seal in a suit. It isn’t long before they transform into various outfits, there is even a part of the song where they are dressed like the characters Raja and Mili from ‘Rangeela’ (1995).

It was a peppy number sung in the vocals of Benny Dayal and Neeti Mohan.

Kiara Advani & Akshay Kumar in ‘Laxmii’

‘Burjkhalifa’ from ‘Laxmii’ (2020)
Asif (Akshay Kumar) is a little hurt when Rashmi (Advani) his wife says he can’t do anything for her. He confidently replies that he could do anything for her in fact even what she couldn’t imagine in her dreams he would buy for her because he loves her that much. Still unable to convince his wife Asif decides to show her and thus the song begins. The lyrics by Gagan Ahuja expresses how much Kumar’s character Asif loves his wife as he wants to buy something which seems impossible like the extraordinary Burj Khalifa.

It was a fast paced track with Arabic sounds used. It was definitely the highlight of the film and no doubt one song that could get everyone up and dancing.

Kiara Advani in ‘Zumba’ from ‘Good Newwz’

‘Zumba’ from ‘Good Newwz’ (2019)
The music video shows a Zumba class taking place in which the ladies that are taking the class look fed up. A couple appears with matching workout outfits and an attitude that says ‘we’ve got this’. Monika (Advani) and Honey (Dosanjh) remove their sunglasses and without saying anything signal to the Zumba instructor to hold their glasses and sit down because they’re in charge of this class now. Even the ladies taking the class seem more energised seeing them take over the class.

Advani and Diljit Dosanjh’s characters looked like a match made in heaven. The way they were in sync and their jolly nature, the audience loved them. The Punjabi vibes of this song matched the characters persona really well.

After this film there were many who wanted to see Advani and Dosanjh again in another project as they brought so much joy to the audience with their roles.

The team at BizAsiaLive.com wishes Kiara Advani a very happy birthday!
