Ayan Mukerji’s superhero film shelved?

Many will have been looking forward to Ayan Mukerji�۪s next which would be the first of a superhero trilogy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. However, news has it that the project has now been shelved.

Talking to SKJ, a reliable source stated, ���Producer Karan Johar no longer finds an Indian super-hero film financially feasible since there are so many of them being done in Hollywood, and with so much more resources at their disposal. Besides, Karan�۪s friend choreographer Remo D�۪Souza is also directing a super-hero film with Tiger Shroff. So it�۪s a no for Ayan�۪s super-hero film�۝.

Interestingly, the project being shelved will definitely take its toll on Kapoor�۪s career, ���Nothing seems to be going right in Ranbir Kapoor�۪s life and career at the moment. While his relationship status is at the moment uncertain, his career too is in search of�� a silver lining, what with his last 4 films under-performing at the boxoffice and his proposed next film��Jagga Jasoos��shrouded in uncertainty�۝.

One wonders whether an announcement is forthcoming about the status of the film or whether it is just delayed.
