Asian channels all set for Hajj coverage

It’s time for celebration on the Muslim calendar this weekend. Eid-ul-Adha takes place this weekend, so to coincide with that like every year Asian TV and radio channels are preparing themselves for live coverage of Hajj. The Hajj is the Fifth Pillar of Islam and therefore a very important part of the Islamic faith.

This year Hajj falls on Wednesday (19th January) and the following stations will be playing a key part in bringing you live streaming from Mecca on the auspicious day.

ARY Digital
ARY Digital will be carrying a special transmission that will air from 08:00 to 13:00 so that viewers can watch the Hajj proceedings live from Saudi Arabia.

Bangla TV
Bangla TV will be airing a live Hajj stream from 10:30 up until 14:30.

PTV Prime
PTV Prime will be showing a live stream from its Pakistan based channel from 08:30 to 11:00 and then continuous broadcast from 14:30 to 16:45.

PTV Prime will also be screening a special broadcast live from Pakistan during Eid weekend, starting from Thursday (20th January) through to this coming Saturday (22nd January).

Vectone Bangla
Vectone’s Bangla channel will be showing a special live broadcast from Mecca between 09:00 and midday.

ZEE Cinema
ZEE Network will for the first time be switching its annual coverage of Hajj from ZEE TV to ZEE Cinema this year. The reason? The channel will be continuing with normal shows on flagship channel ZEE TV without disruption. ZEE Cinema on the other hand will carry a live stream from 06:30 to 13:00 non-stop.
