Ankit Gupta leaves ‘Terre Hojayein Hum’ amid rumours of split from Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
Ankit Gupta has opted out of the upcoming show ‘Terre Hojayein Hum’ (pictured), produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey’s Dreamiyata Productions. The show also features his estranged girlfriend, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
The actors, who were rumored to be in a relationship, have recently unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation about their breakup. Amidst these rumors, Gupta has now decided to withdraw from the project.
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Ankit confirmed his exit, stating, “Yes, I backed out of the project with Ravie and Sargun. I don’t think I am in the right space to take on something like this at the moment. I feel I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge.”

Gupta also dismissed reports of signing up for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. Reflecting on his past decisions, he admitted that he should have waited before participating in ‘Bigg Boss’. He explained, “Looking back, I realise I could have waited a couple more years to be better prepared mentally and physically. Maybe that’s why I’m not keen on doing ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ this year either. I did receive an offer and even had a meeting with the team, but for the first time, I don’t feel the urge to take it up. That’s why I mentioned needing a break for two to three months. Right now, I’m not mentally, physically, or emotionally ready for such a show. Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, and I want to give my best when I do them. So, perhaps I should wait another year.”
