Alia replaces Deepika for luxury brand

Alia Bhatt seems to be going from strength to strength. After bagging all the top honours at recent award ceremonies, the actress has also bagged a top brand deal with a luxury soap, allegedly replacing Deepika Padukone.

A source told Absolute India, “While many big actresses including Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor has been associated with the brand, Deepika Padukone who is one of the top actors right now was the face of the brand. However, the brand associate wanted to bring some freshness and a relatively young face that connects with the teenage girls at a large level. Hence, the brand approached Alia and the actress readily agreed to be the face of the luxury soap.”

Bhatt apparently shot for her first ad for the brand last month and it is expected to be released soon.
