Aishwarya Sharma feels her character in Star Plus show resembles ‘Silsila’

Aishwarya Sharma is ruling hearts with her latest character of Pakhi in the show ‘Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Mein’. The versatile star is thoroughly enjoying playing the character and draws similarity with that of the iconic character of veteran superstar Rekha’s role in the classic movie ‘Silsila’.

“Pakhi is a mature girl. She is a blogger and she is a photographer. She loves to travel. She is a lot similar to Rekha ji’s character in Silsila. She loves Virat but can’t marry him. So, she Is hurt by that. So, my definition of Pakhi is that of a very simple, sorted girl, who maintains cordial relations with everyone,” shares Aishwarya.

The multi-talented actress is grateful to her creative director for making the character just as she always wanted to be.

“I love the character’s overall look. Her costume, jewellery, everything. I always wanted to wear that kind of clothes that Pakhi wears. So, I am very grateful to my creative director for this,” she says.

When the actor is not busy bringing characters alive, she likes to have some “me time” like a regular millennial. Elaborating on that, she says, “Me time for me is binge watching on Netflix. I love watching good cinema, good series. I have watched a lot of series in one month. I watched 45 episodes in one night. I am that much addicted. This is ‘me time’ for me.”
