After ’83’ & ‘Sooryavanshi’, Reliance confirm next with Vidyut Jammwal

With ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ’83’ finally confirming their theatrical release, CEO of Reliance Entertainment, Shibasish Sarkar is looking ahead to see what 2021 has in store after a difficult period.

Along with a diverse slate of releases with multiple partners over the next one year. Sarkar informs that, after working with Neeraj Pandey on various films over the last few years, they are gearing up for as many as four films in the span of next 12 months, reports Pinkvilla.

“We have multiple films lined up with Neeraj with the big one being Vikram Vedha. We are looking to make an official announcement about that very soon. We are also remaking the Malayalam film, Ishq and then collaborating with Neeraj on his own directorial, Chanakya with Ajay Devgn,” Sarkar says. And while he refuses to give details into the cast of ‘Vikram Vedha’ at the moment, he promises that an announcement is on the way.

Sarkar goes on to say, “We are making a film with Vidyut Jammwal, to be directed by Tinu (Suresh Desai, Rustom director). It will go into production sometime around the month of July and August.”

The much awaited ”83,’ starring Ranveer Singh, is confirmed for an 4th June release. And although ‘Sooryavanshi’ is yet to get an official release date, sources say that it is pretty much confirmed for a 2nd April release.
