Abhinav Kashyap reignites war of words with Arbaaz Khan over ‘Dabangg’ controversy
Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, who directed the blockbuster ‘Dabangg’ in 2010, has reignited controversy with candid remarks about his fallout with producer Arbaaz Khan and the franchise’s trajectory. In a recent interview, Kashyap alleged that creative differences and interference led to his decision to step away from the sequels, despite the original film’s massive success.
Kashyap claimed that his vision for ‘Dabangg’ was compromised, stating that he faced pressure and obstruction during the post-release phase. He also criticised the handling of the franchise after his exit, suggesting that subsequent instalments lacked the originality and social commentary he had intended.
