Aamir Khan refutes rumours of ‘Lahore 1947’ name change
Aamir Khan has dismissed rumours suggesting that the title of his upcoming production ‘Lahore 1947’ has been changed.
Addressing the speculation, the actor and filmmaker made it clear that the project will retain its original name. He said: “Where did you hear that? No, the title of our film has not changed. As of now, it is Lahore 1947, and that’s how I would like it to be.”
‘Lahore 1947’ stars Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the lead roles. The film marks a major collaboration between Aamir Khan’s production house and director Rajkumar Santoshi.
Set against the backdrop of the Partition of India in 1947, the period drama is expected to explore the emotional and human stories that unfolded during one of the most turbulent moments in the region’s history.
