Sunny Deol confirms August release for ‘Batwara 1947’
Sunny Deol has confirmed that ‘Batwara 1947’ will release in cinemas on 14th August 2026, securing the Independence Day weekend for the period drama.
The film, earlier titled ‘Lahore 1947’, marks Deol’s reunion with director Rajkumar Santoshi, a partnership known for several acclaimed collaborations. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, the project features Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol in key roles.
