Aamir Khan locks India Independence Day release date for ‘Lahore 1947’
Aamir Khan has reportedly finalised India’s Independence Day week for the release of his next production, ‘Lahore 1947’, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. The film, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, is set to arrive in cinemas on 13th August 2026.
The project marks a notable first‑time collaboration between Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol. While Aamir is producing the film under his banner, Santoshi, a long‑time creative partner of Deol, takes the director’s chair once again.
