YRF’s first OTT series ‘The Railway Men’ based on Bhopal gas tragedy

Production giant, Yash Raj Films’ has announced its first OTT series ‘The Railway Men’, which will be based on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy- the world’s worst industrial disaster that claimed thousands of lives on the night of 2nd December 1984.

The series stars R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu, and Babil Khan. It is directed by debutant Shiv Rawail, who has been mentored by YRF chairman and MD Aditya Chopra.

The project has been announced today, to mark 37 years since the tragedy. The shooting of ‘The Railway Men’ started on 1st December 2021.
