Women’s cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur praises ‘Mardaani 3’ trailer
Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has praised the trailer of ‘Mardaani 3’, calling it “insane” and urging for “swift and example-setting punishment for crimes against women”.
The film, starring Rani Mukerji, continues the acclaimed franchise that tackles issues of violence against women. The latest instalment focuses on the abduction of young girls aged 8-9 from low-income backgrounds across India.
The trailer, unveiled by Yash Raj Films, has generated widespread attention and positive reactions from the industry and audiences alike. Rani Mukerji reprises her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy, a fearless cop racing against time to rescue 93 missing girls. Harmanpreet also expressed appreciation for the police force, writing on social media: “Love our police force who are always there to protect us every day 🚨 #Mardaani3 trailer is insane 🔥🔥 can’t wait to watch the film.”
