Former ‘Shaitaan’ actress Janki Bodiwala joins Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani 3’
Janki Bodiwala, previously seen in Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shaitaan’, has joined the cast of Aditya Chopra’s ‘Mardaani 3’, alongside Rani Mukerji.
A source revealed to PinkVilla, “After captivating audiences with her performance in ‘Shaitaan’, Janki has secured a significant role in ‘Mardaani 3’. Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji were highly impressed by her work in ‘Shaitaan’ and have cast her in an important role as a cop in the film. She has already begun filming in Mumbai.”
The source further shared that the third installment of the ‘Mardaani’ franchise is the most intense yet and, as always, tackles a pressing social issue. “The YRF team is deeply committed to elevating the ‘Mardaani’ series with each film. They aim to enhance the viewing experience for audiences and have ensured the script is strong, addressing contemporary cinema sensibilities.”
