When Sanjay Leela Bhansali tried to make Priyanka Chopra less sexy

Priyanka Chopra is surely winning the hearts of the world. Not only is her acting talent earning��great achievements, the way she carries herself is being highly noted, and is known as one of the worlds sexiest women. However, there was a time in recent months that she was asked to tone her sexiness down a few notches.

With her role as��Kashibai, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s great love story ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015), the director wanted Chopra to become the innocent, child-women he had in mind for the character to be. However, Chopra had other plans, as��Pinkvilla��reported her explaining, “Sanjay sir was trying really hard to take the sexy out of me. The poor guy kept telling me ‘This is impossible! Kashibai is not supposed to be sexy! Stop it! She’s supposed to be simple, a child-woman but then what to do about my sexy waist? I can’t help it.”

She went on to add, “I am a very instinctive actress which is why Sanjay and I have a great chemistry together. He changes the perspective of the scenes, and I am also someone who loves spinning a scene on its head. If I am supposed to be angry what other emotions can I show because it is never an isolated emotion ��� there is always a baggage of multiple emotions that you are feeling. I get very excited at googlies thrown my way and he loves throwing them so our combination works very well and Kashi is a testament to that.”

The actress has already reached new heights with her successful stint in the US series ‘Quantico’ (2015) and a whole list of upcoming Bollywood films, Chopra is in high hopes. She also announced this morning that she will launch a mobile-series called ‘Its My City’.

Well it seems to be working extremely well for her.
