Vishal Bhardwaj denied permission to shoot ‘Rangoon’ in Myanmar

‘Rangoon’ is a film that many are waiting eagerly for and it has been underway for some time. However, BizAsia has learnt that filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has been denied permission to shoot Rangoon, the former capital of Myanmar (Burma).

A source from the crew spoke to Deccan Chronicle, “There have been some new law enforcements that are making it difficult to shoot in Myanmar but the makers are hoping to speak to officials and pursue the process. If that doesn�۪t happen however, then the shoot will move to Mumbai where two sets have been erected for the film ��� one in Chandivali and the other in Madh Island”.

The shoot will now apparently have to move to Mumbai post��Arunachal Pradesh.

The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut.
