Vidya Balan to make Kollywood debut opposite Rajinikanth?

If grapevine is to be believed, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has been approached to play the leading lady in Pa Ranjith�۪s upcoming venture, which stars legendary actor Rajinikanth as the male lead. This will be Balan’s debut film in Tamil cinema.

According to Times of India, earlier, the actress apparently walked out of a Tamil movie, after shooting for a short span. Since then, she has distanced herself from the industry.

Earlier, rumours had it that the movie would not have any heroines but it certainly seems to be incorrect now. However, the 37-year-old has not yet given a nod to work in the movie.

Stating the same a source says, “Talks are on with Vidya Balan. The makers have been negotiating with her for a while now, but the actress is yet to give her nod. She is definitely among the leading ladies who have been approached for this role.”

The movie is yet to be titled.

Rajinikanth has previously romanced Bollywood beauties Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha.
