Vidya Balan joins cast of Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raja Shivaji’
Vidya Balan is the latest high-profile name to join the cast of Riteish Deshmukh’s much-anticipated historical film ‘Raja Shivaji’.
The project already boasts an impressive ensemble, featuring Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Genelia Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi and Amole Gupte.
According to industry sources, Vidya came on board swiftly after hearing the script, reportedly drawn to the film’s historical depth and cultural relevance. She has already completed her look test and is expected to join the shoot next month.
